Sun has appointed Declan Carr sales manager for Ireland. He will be responsible for driving Sun’s business here. Carr joined Sun in 2005 as part of the StorageTek acquisition where he worked in its data management group. Prior to the acquisition he worked for StorageTek as channel manager in its Irish subsidiary and was appointed a director of StorageTek Ireland in 2002. Prior to joining StorageTek, Carr worked with AIB for 23 years with responsibility for its storage environment. He holds a financial services degree from University College Dublin, a C Dip AF from ACCA and an Advanced Computer Programming from Trinity College Dublin.
