Vodafone Ireland customers will now be able to pre-order the Apple iPhone 3Gs from 22 March, with the handset going on sale throughout Vodafone stores from 25 March.

O2 will no longer be the sole seller of the iPhone as Vodafone offers the Phone 3G 8GB for free for all qualifying upgrades and new customers on the Perfect Choice Access 500 and 700 plans beginning at €80 per month.

The entry-level tariff for the iPhone 3Gs is €35 per month and the 16GB handset available from free on Perfect choice Access 700 plan.
