It has been quite a week on the jobs front, with the IDA announcing more than 1,000 new jobs by companies including Opentext (105), Clearstream (200), Amazon (300), Valeo (140) and various emerging companies (400).
One of those companies is Atlanta-headquartered N3, which revealed plans to expand its Dublin office to include at least 100 knowledge-based jobs in the next three years.
N3 uses a proprietary methodology built on over a decade of refinement to design and execute performance-based sales and marketing campaigns for its clients.
Generating more than US$1bn in sales pipelines each year, N3 is a trusted partner for leading technology and software companies, such as HP, SAP, Dell, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Microsoft and General Electric.

“We hire smart people, including engineers with degrees and people with a master’s in computer science and we teach them to sell. We also hire people with a strong business background and we teach them to be technical,” Laue said at the Web Summit in Dublin.
This methodology, he said, is instrumental in helping clients find and close business deals.
“One of the reasons we came to Ireland was because it was in the EU and the ability to get multiple language skills for Eastern Europe and Asia.
“The IDA painted an optimistic picture and their optimism has been understated in terms of the quality and availability of people.”
Laue said that so far 20 people have joined N3 at the company’s new European operations at the former Trintech building in Sandyford, Dublin.
“The 100 positions will be filled over the next two and a half years but I expect that in the next couple of months we will be up to between 45 and 50 people,” Laue said.
