eBay.ie has teamed up with top members of the fashion industry for Ireland’s first Online Fashion Week, taking place from 28 March to 1 April.

eBay will be hosting five live online talks on fashion on its Style Hunter page on Facebook.

“In the absence of Ireland’s very own fashion week, eBay’s Online Fashion Week offers the chance to celebrate the best of the Irish fashion industry and look at the role of online fashion,” said eBay’s Ruth Szyszkowski.

“We’d like to invite fashion fans in Ireland and abroad to log on and interact with our experts and showcase eBay’s fashion credentials.”

Members of the Irish fashion industry will offer their own views on what’s coming in the season ahead and the future of fashion at 1pm GMT each day during eBay.ie’s Online Fashion Week.

Viewers can also post questions to each of the speakers.

Fashion designer Eilis Boyle will speak on Monday, 28 March, and on Tuesday, stylist Aisling Farinella will speak on eBay.ie’s Style Hunter page.

Fashion blogger Angela Scanlon will speak on Wednesday and Constance Harris, fashion editor of the Sunday Independent will speak on Thursday.

Kellie Dalton, founder of ethical fashion initiative Re-dress, will round up the talks on Friday.
