Luckily, we’ve gained a valuable insight by speaking to John Farrelly, the head of analytics advisory at EY.

The work is more client-facing than some may anticipate, for one. According to Farrelly, the role involves “defining problems” with clients and “extrapolating from there what data we would need to analyse to provide insight to that problem”.
