The flexibility that comes with the future of work is often viewed as an employee-driven perk, but it doesn’t have to be.
Opening the future-of-work panel at Inspirefest, Silicon Republic managing editor Elaine Burke said that flexibility has traditionally been employee-led.
However, Deutsche Bank Service Centre CEO Sheamus Causer believes this will change in the future of work for a couple of key reasons.
“The first one is cost. When you think of real-estate cost, if you’re paying for a building or a floor space and you have a nine-to-five workforce, that effectively means for 16 hours a day, you’re paying for air.”
