Both IDA Ireland chief executive Martin Shanahan and the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton TD said that job creation in every region of Ireland is of paramount importance.

There were 110 investments in the first half of 2015, up from 100 investments in the same period last year. Key investments approved by the IDA came from Apple, Facebook, Slack and Zalando.

The IDA also revealed its new value proposition for Ireland, which will focus on nine key areas: track record, talent, tax, ease of doing business, education, access to Europe, cities and clusters, connected research and cutting-edge companies.
