Galway CRM firm plans to post €2m profits

Galway-based Graham Technology Ireland, a subsidiary of the UK-based Graham Technology plc, is understood to be estimating profits of €2m for the year ended April 2004.

The company, which was established by Fiona Graham in 1998 when she was 22 years old, operates within the highly competitive CRM and sales campaign systems market, competing against giants such as Siebel, SAP and Oracle.

Graham Technology Ireland, which employs 16 people, has closed a number of deals already this year and has a very strong sales pipeline.

Recent deals include the implementation of Graham’s GT-X technology for outbound telemarketing campaigns. This resulted in GT-X being deployed throughout Eircom’s mass consumer business. This success was followed by a project implementation win at Lombard & Ulster.

Such deals led to Graham Technology Ireland implementing a sales campaign system for AIB, which enabled AIB to reach 300pc over its sales target in the first campaign.

According to the company, CRM-based campaigns have an 85pc failure rate, which compares with Graham’s claimed 100pc success on projects. “Graham’s differentiation is to focus on rapid returns on investment and a solution that exactly meets the business requirements,” the company said in a statement.
