Andor Technology plc, a developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras, has appointed Conor Walsh chief executive officer. He joined the company in 2002 as finance director and company secretary. He was closely involved in the company’s listing on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in 2004 and in the acquisitions of Multichannel Instruments in 2002 and Kinetic Imaging in 2004. Walsh is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a chartered director. Prior to joining Andor, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the corporate finance division, and before that he held various senior finance positions in manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland.
