Denise Cox, the email content and marketing specialist, has scooped the main award in the Irish Internet Association annual Net Visionary awards, siliconrepublic.com can exclusively reveal.

The presentation will take place this afternoon at the Alexander Hotel in Dublin.

Cox founded All Real Good Internet in 1998 as the first dedicated email marketing and publishing agency in Ireland. She currently holds the position of content development manager at E-search, the email directory services company where she is responsible for email services. Seven years ago she created and still runs an animal welfare website (www.irishanimals.com) as a spare-time activity.

The IIA Net Visionary Award aims to promote and acknowledge the work of leading internet professionals.

The other awards went to: Adrian Weckler, Sunday Business Post (Journalist Award), Cliodhna McGuirk of Saadian Technologies (Innovation Award); David Long of Ireland Offline (Social Inclusion Award) and Frank Daly of Revenue Commissioners (E-government Award).
