HiberniaEvros has revealed that over the last 10 months is has experienced a 35pc growth in its technology staffing division.
Hibernia Evros Technology Staffing Solutions is a new division that was introduced last year to supply highly skilled IT workers to companies on short-term contracts. The roles that the division provides include system administrators, infrastructure consultants, project managers, test engineers, DBAs (database administrators), developers, help desk engineers and business application consultants.
Caroline Godsil, joint managing director for HiberniaEvros, announced there will be a greater need for skilled IT workers with the global economy’s recovery.
She also revealed there is a high demand for business analysts, project managers and software developers.
Godsil commented, “The recession caused many organisations to look to reduce their fixed-cost overhead. Hiring IT people on contract helped them to achieve that.”
HiberniaEvros has selected engineer Chris Byrne as resource manager, who will be responsible for the selection process for client projects.
