30 Apr 2014

Cork-headquartered Intercall and its sister company in Killarney, Tangerine Management, are to recruit 50 new people in sales, management, and customer service support over the next 12 months.

“It is planned that the jobs will be created across our three offices,” said Niall Kelleher, managing director of both companies.

“We will see 15 new jobs go to Killarney and 35 new jobs in Cork, across two different locations in the city.”

Intercall and Tangerine Management provide telemarketing, customer services, customer care and order processing to a wide range of clients, including Vodafone, Dunnes Stores, QSat, PrePayPower, AES (Bord Na Móna) and Greyhound Recycling.

According to Intercall founder Jim McCoy, recruitment has already started in Cork and a number of the positions have already been filled.

“When all the new positions have been filled, the Cork operations will have increased by a third. The jobs will be located in Dosco Industrial Estate on the South Douglas Road and at the Cork Airport Business Park,” McCoy said.

Between them, Intercall and Tangerine Management employ more than 120 people between Cork and Killarney, Co Kerry.

“The expansion of the operations in Killarney, which will see the number of staff double, will require additional investment and enhanced facilities over the coming six months,” added Kelleher.
