Pan-European airline Ryanair has announced 50 new IT and digital jobs in Dublin, the company revealed.
The airline is recruiting web developers, designers, analysts, software engineers, SEO and content specialists and CRM and email specialists to transform its Ryanair.com website.
The team will also create a digital marketing platform that will go live in April, as well as a new mobile app that will be available from June.
The airline will be holding a Web Stars open day on Saturday, 8 February, at its new Dublin offices at Airside, Swords, between 8.30am and 12pm.
Potential applicants will be met and briefed by Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary, chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs, director of IT Eric Neville, and head of web development Dara Brady.
In a bid to attract potential applicants, spokesman Robin Kiely said candidates who register and are selected to attend the open day will, as well as their breakfast, be given free flights to a destination of their choice. Registration closes at 6pm on Monday, 3 February.
“As Ryanair rolls out its new digital strategy, we’re hoping to recruit over 50 IT and digital professionals to drive these revolutionary developments. We want to meet the best of the best,” Kiely said.
