Irish web design firm Strata3 has landed a contract valued at €200,000 with Tourism Ireland to create web services that will market Ireland as an overseas holiday destination.

This three-year contract will see Strata3 providing the web development, hosting and management services to Tourism Ireland’s central and eastern European websites in seven different countries, and will focus on Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia initially.

In February of this year, Strata3 designed and developed the brand-new Polish site for Tourism Ireland (pictured), followed by the Hungarian site in March.

John Mitchell, director of Strat3, said: “Tourism Ireland’s central and eastern European websites require a broad range of web services, from web development and localisation of multiple languages to managing information such as travel access details, tour operator details and stories of the month.

“Strata3 has deployed fours sites already, and we will continue to roll out additional dynamic content as this extensive programme evolves to cover more regions.”

Other clients of Strata3 include FÁS, Kerrygold and Vodafone.
