UK-based software company Wax Digital has opened a sales office in Dublin. The company said it hopes the Irish operation will help the company maintain its 50pc year-on-year growth.

The Dublin office is headed up by Pat Chambers, who previously set up JBA Ireland and grew it to become a €6m business.

“Wax Digital is one of the most successful names in e-procurement and we believe that there is a very healthy appetite in Ireland among mid and large-sized companies that recognize the need to better control and measure their spending,” said Pat Chambers, managing director, Wax Digital Ireland.

Wax Digital is operational in 23 countries worldwide but sales and marketing operations have until now been centered on the UK.
