Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood beta details unveiled

17 Sep 2010

Ubisoft has announced the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer beta will be available in Ireland from 4 October exclusively on PS3.

The offer is open to players who preorder certain versions of the game from certain retailers.

Ubisoft revealed these versions to be: the codex edition from GameStop; the standard or codex edition from Play.com; the standard edition from Amazon.co.uk or the standard or special edition from Game.co.uk.

It will also be available for PSN+ subscribers.

The multiplayer beta will let players choose from nine characters, such as the doctor, the priest, the executioner or the courtesan.

They can also use these characters’ unique weapons and discover their signature moves.

Up to eight players can play together and will be able to find new ways of assassinating their targets in two different modes: ‘Wanted’ and ‘Alliance’.

‘Wanted’ challenges players to get the higher score by killing their assigned targets and escaping their hunters in many ways.

‘Alliance’ allows players to compete co-operatively in teams of two, fulfil contracts and confuse enemies.

Both modes can be played on two different maps located in Rome and Castel Gandolfo.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood will be released on 19 November on Xbox 360 and PS3. It will be out on PC in early 2011.
