It’s the season of soccer and whether you are following Euro 2016 or are enjoying Copa América, Facebook Messenger is keeping the ball in the game with a mysterious Easter Egg that unlocks a game of keepie-uppie.

The Easter Egg can be discovered on iOS or Android devices by starting a group or private conversation and sending the football emoji to the group or friend and then tapping it.

What follows is an unadulterated, fascinatingly addictive game of keepie-uppie that will eat up time but you have to keep playing.

You have to keep the ball in the air by constantly jabbing at it, Flappie Bird-style. This writer’s personal best is 4.

It is the latest Easter Egg game to make its appearance in Facebook Messenger.

Recent games that appeared in this vein include a chess game that can be activated by typing @fbchess play and then telling @fbchess which piece you want to move and to which square on the grid.

Another game more similar to the football one was a basketball game that you activate by sending a friend or group a basketball emoji.

Enjoy!
