A recent panel discussion hosted by Hays discussed the importance of employer branding in a candidate-led market.

Darren McAuliffe, publisher, Silicon Republic; Miriam O’Keeffe, programmes director, American Chamber of Commerce Ireland; John Kennedy, ‎infrastructure human resources manager at Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail); and James Milligan, director, Hays Ireland, sat on a panel chaired by The Irish Times economics editor Arthur Beesley to discuss the findings of the Hays Talent Solutions report on the state of resourcing in Ireland.

Among the range of topics discussed, employer branding was one of the most explored, as the panelists each weighed in on how an employer’s reputation can be sold to candidates, be it through their website, social media or even their staff as spokespeople.
