Silicon Republic is delighted to welcome the arrival of Sue Black’s Techmums to Ireland.
The Techmums programme invites mothers to commit just two hours per week over a five-week period to learn digital skills from basic office tech and using social media to building apps and coding in Python.
This remarkable initiative was devised by Sue Black, who left school at 16 and returned to education later in life as a single mother.
Beginning in London in 2012, Techmums has now gone international with the launch of its first Irish programme in Dublin’s The Digital Hub.
