Oneview Healthcare announces 50 jobs for Dublin

19 Sep 2016

Irish medtech firm Oneview Healthcare has announced it is to create 100 jobs across its international offices, with half to be based in the company’s headquarters in Dublin.

Founded in 2008, Oneview Healthcare has facilities in four different countries – including its native Ireland – providing patient engagement and clinical workflow software, and entertainment services, through a range of different devices.

Having secured multiple contracts with US hospital groups and a major elderly care home group, the company has announced it is to create 100 jobs across its international offices.

50 of these jobs have been confirmed for Oneview’s Irish headquarters in Blackrock, Dublin, which will remain its research development hub.

It is envisioned that, by the end of 2017, Oneview’s platform will be available in at least 20 hospitals across the globe, including six of the 15 top-ranked hospitals in the US.

Further expansion expected in 2017

The deal signed with the elderly housing company – Legacy Lifestyles – will greatly expand demand for Oneview’s service, the company said, with it already fully integrated into the first batch of homes.

With six development properties to date, construction is due to commence on the first community of Legacy Lifestyles homes this Autumn, with an additional five communities breaking ground by mid-2017.

Oneview’s president and founder, Mark McCloskey, welcomed the jobs creation, saying: “Oneview is delighted to be announcing the creation of new jobs here in Ireland and across our global offices.

“We are honoured to have been selected by Legacy Lifestyles to deploy our systems throughout their senior housing communities.”

‘A great example of a successful Irish company’

The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor added: “Today’s announcement that Oneview, a highly innovative Irish company, is creating 100 new jobs is great news for the country and our health and technology sectors.

“Oneview is a great example of a successful Irish company making great strides across the globe.”

Earlier this year, Oneview partnered with LauraLynn Children’s Hospice to bring the charity’s educational videos to Oneview’s platform.
