Global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company Accenture will provide the Swedish National Police Board with IT development and maintenance services over the next three years.

The Swedish National Police Board has chosen Accenture as its strategic IT partner in a three-year framework agreement to help enhance police operations and investigations, deliver greater information sharing across the force, and enable better management of, and access to, critical police investigative and operational information.

The contract includes a possible extension to a maximum of another three years.

Accenture secured the contract after a competitive tendering process.

“Having Accenture as our strategic IT partner means we will have access to the skills and expertise necessary to meet our future IT delivery requirements to support overall policing activities in Sweden,” said Christian Stuart, head of IT-operations, development and maintenance at the Swedish National Police Board.
