Cork company Yougetitback.com has struck a deal with a major European mobile operator to put its security software on the company’s forthcoming smart phones.
Yougetitback.com has developed an intelligent technology that helps reunite missing laptops and smart phones with their owners.
The company’s technology contains software that allows people who find missing laptops or phones to get in touch with their owner, or, if the device is stolen, allows the device to be locked down and tracked via GPS.
Belfast e-learning firm wins industry deal
Belfast-based e-learning company Aurion has won a deal to provide the UK’s Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) with a portfolio of e-learning courses.
Launching in April, Aurion’s course will initially be working on a new Level 1 Food Safety Awareness e-learning qualification. The new course will be made available through the network of CIEH-registered training centres and is equivalent to three industry-specific qualifications: Level 1 Award in Food Safety Awareness in Catering; Level 1 Award in Induction into Food Safety for Manufacturing and Level 1 Award in Food Safety Awareness for Retail.
Worldspreads inks spread-betting deal with Ladbrokes
The UK subsidiary of Dublin-listed Worldspreads Group has signed an exclusive agreement to provide UK bookmakers Ladbrokes with its financial spread-betting service.
Under the deal, WorldSpreads will provide an online trading service offering financial spread bets on market instruments, such as stock indices, individual shares, currencies, commodities and interest rates, with Ladbrokes promoting this service to its customers.
ERS Computer Solutions using keepITsafe
Online backup provider keepITsafe has secured a deal with ERS Computer Solutions to move ERS’ clients to a fully managed and fully monitored online backup solution by the end of the year in a contract worth more than €200,000.
