Smart Telecom has appointed Brendan Hunt as chief financial officer. He brings extensive senior financial experience in the telecommunications, media and software industries to the Smart Telecom management team. Hunt joins from UPC Ireland (Chorus and NTL) where he was CFO. Prior to that, he was finance and corporate service director with NTL Communication Ireland and was a key contributor in the sale of this business to UPC in 2005. He has held a number of European senior financial management roles with Alta Vista, Informix, Trintech and Symantec. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin.
