Irish H+A Marketing + PR has acquired Impact Media and plans to create 10 new jobs.
The combined business will employ 36 people, bringing together a broad portfolio of national and international clients, with combined revenue of an estimated €5m. Impact Media will trade as a division of the newly expanded H+A.
H+A Marketing + PR now employs 24 people at its headquarters in Cork. The company services a client base that includes many of Ireland’s leading multinational and SME businesses. In announcing the acquisition, H+A suggested its intention to recruit an additional 10 people over the next 18 months to facilitate the growth plans of the new, larger entity.
“The acquisition means that H+A now hosts the full range of marketing communications services in Cork, Limerick and Galway, from where our experienced team will deliver client projects to the highest international standards. Furthermore, today’s announcement signals our intention to aggressively grow our business over the next 18 months, with plans to recruit additional people during that time,” said H+A managing director Brian Healy.
According to Impact Media managing director, Niall McGarry, “joining with H+A will ensure that Impact Media is perfectly positioned for further growth and development. Our existing clients can look forward to the same excellent service that they have become used to but will now have the option of tapping into the extensive additional services and benefits that H+A brings to the table”.
This acquisition is another step in the company’s aggressive growth plans. H+A acquired O’Sullivan Public Relations Limited in January 2008, creating one of Ireland’s largest full-service marketing communications agencies. The company’s current primary customer base is in Ireland, but H+A also has a well-established and growing list of clients and projects in the UK, Europe and the United States.
The company that was founded in Galway in 1993 employs 14 people at its Galway and Limerick offices.
