Ireland needs to create value through IT – Sogeti Ireland CEO

Irish organisations can take advantage of the predicted global economic upturn by investing, innovating and creating value through IT, according to Declan Kavanagh, CEO, Sogeti Ireland.

“As we enter the recovery phase, a key question is, ‘What has the recent global crisis changed forever, and what will return to normal?’ As a country we need to focus on innovation and creating value to emerge strong in the new fundamentally changed business environment,” Kavanagh said at the launch of the most recent edition of IT Journal, Sogeti’s magazine for CEOs and CIOs.

“Companies must learn to embrace change,” said Kavanagh. “Technology has always been a very strong driver of progress and innovation and will remain so for organisations.”
