Facebook Timeline is now available for businesses that use Facebook Pages to convey their brand message more visually and interactively. Brands now have 30 days to play around with the new interface until Facebook makes it mandatory for all Pages by 30 March.

That gives page administrators and social media administrators 30 days in which to dabble with the new interface.

And, in a new departure, page administrators will now also have the ability to get message capabilities. Businesses are sure to capitalise on Timeline’s capabilities, such as the cover photo feature to splay their brand messages online and to engage more with consumers.

The new Timeline for Facebook Pages will also show users which of their friends on Facebook also like the same brand when they visit a specific page.

However, Timeline for pages removes the ability to set an app as a default landing page.
