The online Apple Store is temporarily down, in what can only be a sign that new products – including a possible new iPad mini – will be added to its inventory once the consumer tech giant announces new goodies today.

A rotating message in several languages on the Apple Store website simply reads, “We’ll be back. We’re busy updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon.”

In addition to a much-buzzed-about new iPad mini, rumour has it a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina technology and a refreshed line-up of 9.7-inch new iPads equipped with the new Lightning connector could be in the offering.

Apple will reveal all in in San Jose, California, at 10am PST (6pm IST) today. Siliconrepublic.com will be reporting every bit of information as it becomes available.
