Apple’s iOS photo editing app iPhoto has gained 1m unique users since it was launched 10 days ago alongside the new iPad.
The Loop reports these figures are counting unique users rather than just downloads.
The iPhoto app for iOS devices was revealed alongside the launch of the new iPad and is optimised for the Retina display. It lets users browse through their apps with multi-touch controls and enhance and retouches photos using fingertip brushes.
Photos can be compared side by side and users can adjust colour, exposure and contrast.
Users can post photos to Facebook, Flickr and Twitter through the app, and can also stream photos to an Apple TV with AirPlay. They can also create photo journals and share them online through iCloud.
iPhoto is available for €3.99 on the Apple App Store.
