It has emerged that Apple could be set to announce the release of iTunes Live Streaming.
The statement published on the iTunes site yesterday promised an exciting announcement regarding iTunes.
According to techtree.com, French website Consomac contends that, having tracked down clues in the myriad of code of iTunes 10.1, Apple will be announcing the release of a live streaming service.
Whether this means that users will be able to stream their iTunes to their portable devices or watch streaming media remains to be seen.
Apple will make its announcement at 3pm GMT.
