Nintendo and Capcom team up for Ghost Trick Phantom Detective

29 Oct 2010

Nintendo and Capcom have teamed up in a European distribution agreement for the upcoming Ghost Trick Phantom Detective for the Nintendo DS.

Nintendo will be responsible for sales, marketing and distribution of the game in Europe, while Capcom will act as publisher.

The game, being headed by Shu Takumi, the creator of the Ace Attorney series, lets players take on the role of Sissel, a murder victim who has lost his memories and has returned as a ghost to solve the suspicious circumstances of his death.

Sissel realises he can talk to other recently deceased spirits and has the ability to go back in time to four minutes before each victim died. Players can control his ghost and have until dawn to solve the mystery.

Items can be possessed in the real world, such as bicycles and donuts. Depending on what object the player manipulates, they can influence the fate of other victims in order to solve the mystery.

Ghost Trick Phantom Detective will be release across Europe on 14 January 2011.
