Angry Birds Space is out now for PC, Mac, iOS and Android devices, bringing the challenge of zero gravity conditions to the bird-shooting, mega-hit game.
The game includes 60 levels, with secret levels, new birds and new powers. Players can float their birds through space in zero gravity or utilise the gravity of nearby planets to set up trick shots.
Angry Birds developer Rovio is planning free updates in the future and there will be content available through in-app purchases starting with the iOS version.
Gameplay has been optimised for each platform and Angry Birds Space will support the Retina display of the new iPad.
As well as the game, Rovio is launching new merchandise, animation and books in stores to mark the occasion.
