STEM sector luminaries Susan McKenna-Lawlor, director of Space Technology Ireland Ltd, and Margot Slattery, country president of Sodexo Ireland, were among those honoured last night at the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) annual awards dinner.
Every year, the WXN celebrates the outstanding work of 25 Irish women who, by their success, encourage others to follow in their footsteps, be ambitious and succeed.
This year, the Network honoured women who are corporate executives, business leaders, entrepreneurs, public sector leaders, trailblazers, and luminaries in arts and culture.
“This year’s winners are true leaders in their field,” said Sherri Stevens, CEO of WXN. “It is essential that we keep promoting and celebrating their success, because the sad truth remains that progress is still slow.”
