A global provider of talent management software is to create 40 high-value jobs in Ireland as it establishes its European Multilingual Business Centre in Dublin.
SuccessFactors’ new Dublin business centre, which will be located in Dundrum, will service customers in the small and medium-size markets.
Recruitment has already commenced for third-level graduates with various language skills.
The centre has been created in response to SuccessFactors’ accelerating commercial momentum across Europe and increased customer demand for its services.
SuccessFactors provides performance and talent management software to the global market. The company’s ‘Performance & Talent Management Suite’ has established itself as one of the worlds’ most massively deployed on-demand business applications in the enterprise cloud with 5.1 million users.
Enterprise cloud is a software distribution model in which applications are hosted by a vendor or service provider and made available to customers over a network, typically the internet.
Making the announcement today, the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Mary Coughlan TD, said: “As SuccessFactors and its solutions are highly regarded and its technology is industry leading, the location of this centre in Dublin is a significant addition to Ireland’s already well-respected software industry.
“Given the company’s market-leading position, it is also another excellent endorsement of Ireland as an emerging European innovation leader in multilingual, technical and customer support activities for client-focused international companies.
“In addition, companies using the Enterprise Cloud are a strategic focus for IDA Ireland to further enhance Ireland’s existing global-leading software industry,” the Tánaiste said.
According to Lars Dalgaard, CEO of SuccessFactors: “Our investment in the new Dublin office is an integral part of supporting our customers. Dublin’s international reputation in multilingual activity, combined with the ready availability of a diversity of multilingual talent in one city, its European air access, and its competitive costs relative to other European locations made it the logical choice for us.”
SuccessFactor’s ‘Performance & Talent Management Suite’ creates a company-wide network of information related to employee performance, including skill-sets, interests, career aspirations, ability to relocate, experience, languages spoken and more. The software aims to allow companies to make better, more informed decisions about how to promote, recruit, compensate, reward and manage their entire employee base.
The company currently serves over 2,700 customers across 31 languages, with 5.1-plus million people using its software in 185 countries.
