Most (84pc) of information security executives believe their organisations are vulnerable to advanced persistent threats (APTs) targeting intellectual property or other critical organisational assets, reveals a new survey that gauges the state of cyber-readiness inside the enterprise.
The survey findings have been turned into an infographic by CounterTack and published on Visual.ly that unveils the most-relied upon security products to defend against APTs and other advanced threats, the different roles of security executives, what today’s cyber warrior must possess, and new strategies and approaches organisations are looking at when it comes to cyber defence.
The infographic also offers other facts and figures, such as 80pc of survey respondents believe that enterprise could benefit from adopting a military-style approach to security learned on physical battlefields, such as situational awareness and intelligence gathering.
