Science Minister Conor Lenihan is expected to launch Science Week in Dublin today.

Science Week will involve more than 450 events taking place across Ireland from 7-14 November.

The week, which aims to attract students, teachers and parents, will promote the relevance of science, engineering and technology in daily life and will show the importance of these subjects to the development of Irish society and the economy.
