Betfair announces 100 new Dublin jobs

Online betting exchange company Betfair is to create 100 new customer service and data centre management jobs in Dublin.

The company is to open a data centre and relocate its customer operations to Ireland over the next several months.

Betfair chief executive David Yu has said that since Ireland is already a prime destination for online firms, Betfair is happy to invest in the country, RTE reported.

Betfair, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, employs more than 2,000 people around the world.
