Music-streaming service Deezer is launching its music service in Ireland and the Netherlands today, followed by the rest of Europe on 31 January, it emerged today.

The music company will launch the new service in Paris today at Le Web, with an exclusive performance by The Ting Tings.

Its service is currently available in France, Belgium and the UK, and will launch in 45 countries by 31 January.

Countries like Canada and Latin America will get the service by the end of 2012, while the rest of the world will get the service on 30 June 2012.

Earlier this year, Deezer struck a deal with mobile network Orange to embed its music service onto Orange smartphones.

The website streams music and live concerts alongside content like blogs and album reviews.
