Getting online while travelling is a common “first world” problem. But never fear, here is an interactive map with passwords for Wi-Fi at airports around the world.

The most common problem is finding free Wi-Fi in airports; not all airports are so enlightened or generous.

As a result, passengers often rack up hefty mobile bills while making connections or after arriving in new places.

The map is the brainchild of travel blogger and security engineer Anil Polat, and it carries the Wi-Fi passwords and locations of dozens of airports worldwide.

Wireless passport to the world

By clicking on each aeroplane logo, the map brings up useful information such as where to sit to access Wi-Fi, along with instructions for the password.

A world of connectivity has been opened up to you!

May the world be your [data] oyster.
