We recently took a trip to Letterkenny, Co Donegal, to meet some of Pramerica’s employees. They discussed what they like best about the company, including how its remote working policy can help staff strike a better work-life balance.
Vice-president of systems Andrea McBride lives a 20-minute drive from the Pramerica office, but she still works from home one day a week to accommodate her schedule.
DevOps engineer Matthew Begin, meanwhile, is looking forward to being able to complete two days of his working week at the company’s satellite office in Donegal town, saving him 40 minutes on his daily commute.
But there are still benefits for those working in the office, according to HR business partner Orla McGinley. “We’ve got fantastic facilities here on-site – we’ve got an in-house canteen and a great coffee dock and lots of really nice breakout areas where people can meet.”
