If mobile healthcare, or mHealth, is the future, then the future is now, reveals a new infographic that digs into the provision of health-related services using mobile technology.
The infographic published by GreatCall on Visual.ly looks at the definition of mHealth, the rising popularity of mHealth apps, mHealth user statistics, whether doctors recommend mHealth apps (most of them do), and the top 5 free medical apps on iTunes and Google Play.
The infographic also provides plenty of facts and figures about mHealth, such as total mobile health market revenue will reach US$26bn by 2017, and by that same year, half of smartphone owners will have downloaded mobile health apps.
