5 Jul 2012

Vodafone customers who experienced intermittent services for calls and data this morning have been assured the problem was fixed before 1pm today.

It emerged this morning that Vodafone network users were experiencing call and data problems.

A spokesperson told Siliconrepublic.com that this was due to a transmission fault on the network.

She said the problem was resolved at around 12.30pm today.

“We moved to resolve the issue as soon as we could and the network was back up and running within a few hours.

“We have apologised unreservedly to any customers who experienced any service disruption,” she explained.
