Tickets to Apple’s WWDC 2013 sell out in two minutes

26 Apr 2013

Tickets for Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) went on sale at 10am PDT yesterday. By 10.02am PDT yesterday, the tickets – going for US$1,599 each, were sold out.

Last year, buyers snapped up the tickets in two hours, making this the sixth year in a row that the event has sold out, MacRumors reported.

Apple’s annual conference will provide developers with the opportunity to rub shoulders with Apple engineers and executives at the Moscone West Center in San Francisco, California.

The event will feature more than 100 technical sessions, hands-on labs to help developers integrate new technologies, and the Apple Design Awards, a showcase of the most outstanding apps available through the App Store and Mac App Store, Apple said.
