Gmail adds drag-and-drop file saving

Adding to improvements earlier this year that allows Gmail users to drag and drop images and documents from their desktop to a new email for instant attachment, Google has tweaked its webmail a little further.

Now users can ‘pull’ document attachment straight out of their Gmail inbox without having to download and save the files to their computer.

While inside an email and hovering over an attachment there is now the option to click or drag to your desktop to save. Neat.

Gmail also allows for embedded images, as well as attachments, simply by dragging the image onto where you are composing the message.
