HP will release the Pavilion dm1 in October, a laptop with an 11.6-inch HD display and Beats Audio.

The Pavilion dm1 includes Beats by Dr Dre, offering high quality audio technology for this laptop.

It includes AMD processor options and a built-in HD webcam for video chatting.

The laptop weighs 1.6kg and its battery lasts for up to 9.5 hours.

It offers HP Premiere Experience, which offers different UI options. This includes the HP Launch Box, which organises applications on the Windows 7 taskbar. It also includes HP QuickWeb, letting users access the internet within seconds of turning the laptop on.

The Pavilion dm1 also has HP Coolsense, which adjusts the performance and internal fan settings to cool down the laptop.

It’s also equipped with HP ProtectSmart, which detects when a PC is dropped to lock the hard drive in place to prevent damage.

The HP Pavilion dm1 will have a starting price of €449.
