Today, we bring you the latest creation from Colin Furze, the internet’s mad scientist in residence.
Furze has been featured on Siliconrepublic.com before when his fully automatic Wolverine claws caught our attention (how could they not?).
Though this and other inventions dreamed up by Furze have been inspired by comic-book characters, he makes sure to let us know that his firework-proof metal suit is not his attempt at being Iron Man.
In actual fact, the suit looks more like an evil Gumby, though its menace is lessened when Furze bounces around inside it with excitement. Perhaps you’d be excited too if you were about to become the centrepoint of a fireworks display. Frankly, I’d be terrified.
