MUZU goes ‘Live & Loud’ with exclusive new videos

18 Feb 2011

Music video site MUZU, which shares ad revenues with music labels, has launched a new live video performance service, with new performances by two artists uploaded every week.

This week, Live & Loud will feature two Brit Award-winning artists. Jessie J gives an exclusive performance only available on MUZU.TV, of her UK No 1 hit Price Tag from BBC Two’s Later … with Jools Holland, and Ellie Goulding, who sings her massive hit Starry Eyed, performed during the 2010 Brit Awards launch party.

The two live videos will be up against each other and visitors will need to watch and vote for their favourite. Two new performances will be added every week. The artist with the most votes will win and one of the people that voted for them will receive a prize for their support.

The Live & Loud page will also feature a ‘Best Of Live’ area, showcasing the best in live performances from popular acts including Plan B, Mumford & Sons, Gorillaz, McFly, Amy Winehouse, Muse, Rihanna, Take That and lots more.

MUZU is partnering with Eventim, Europe’s largest ticketing provider, which will supply a weekly prize of a £100 voucher to be redeemed against any of its events featured at Eventim.co.uk.

“Live & Loud is a very exciting initiative which enables MUZU to showcase the very best performances in live music, while providing an engaging and compelling experience for our users and music fans,” said Ciaran Bollard, CEO of MUZU.

“As well as providing high-quality official music videos from all four majors and the key independent record labels, we want to bring unique and exclusive performances only available on MUZU from the bands that people love,” Bollard added.
