BT Ireland’s Gillian Chamberlain says organisations have a lot to gain from digital transformation, but the journey can be difficult.

While many organisations are keen to digitally transform, there are a lot of factors to keep in mind. Gillian Chamberlain, head of business sales and marketing at BT Ireland, says that it is crucial for businesses to match increasing customer expectations, while managing security and creating efficient network processes at the same time.

She describes the consumer desire for a “seamless, convenient, personalised experience”.

To achieve their goals, enterprises need to have a solid network as a foundation – the network is the first building block. “It is impossible for them [organisations] to realise their digital ambitions without the right infrastructure in place.”
