We visited the Dublin office of Viasat Ireland to find out more about its culture, projects and people.
At Viasat Ireland’s office, we spoke with three staff members – managing director Dave Elliott, EMEA head of talent acquisition Claire Gannon and software engineer Zdenko Csaprda.
The Dublin team works with some of the biggest airlines on in-flight experience software, Elliott told us. “The products and services that we build are used by millions of passengers and crew,” he added. That applies to anything from watching in-flight movies to video calls.
To make this possible, the company has invested “significantly” in Dublin, Elliot said, tapping into the “massive talent pool”.
“We’re definitely not a nine-to-five company,” Gannon added. “I think tech is very fast moving and we need people who are adaptable so that they can pivot and change direction at pace.”
