Ryanair renews partnership with Booking.com

22 Feb 2011

Ryanair has renewed its long-standing partnership with online reservations site Booking.com, which provides passengers with access to more than 105,000 hotels in 92 countries.

The news comes just weeks after Ryanair signed a deal with IT business systems company Maxima to support its web-booking application by implementing Citrix’s latest web acceleration technology.

Ryanair passengers can choose from a variety of hotel accommodation, ranging from small independents to luxury five-star hotels.

“Ryanair will carry 78m passengers this year at our guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges and we are delighted that our partnership with Booking.com will ensure they gain access to Europe’s best hotel accommodation,” Ryanair’s Sinead Finn said.

“Ryanair passengers will benefit from a wide selection of hotels at great prices which will cater to the needs of every budget,” Finn added.

150,000 hotel rooms booked daily

More than 150,000 hotel room nights are booked every day on Booking.com.

“With highly competitive hotel rates, a vast choice of properties, multilingual content and the flexibility to make last-minute reservations, we believe our partnership will deliver great value to Ryanair passengers,” Booking.com’s Nick Monaghan said

To celebrate the renewal of the partnership, Booking.com and Ryanair will be giving away Ryanair gift vouchers worth €50 each to 50 winners from the first 500 hotel bookings made.
