Sony Ericsson has launched a range of environmentally friendly mobile phones, the Elm and the Cedar.

The Sony Ericsson ‘Greenheart’ range reduce CO2 emissions through recycled plastics, non-chemical paint, a reduction of packaging by 80pc and power-saving chargers.

Both the Sony Ericsson Elm and the Sony Ericsson Cedar offer a Widget Manager to help access social networking via the standby screen and quickly switch their social networks.

They both also have features such as Noise Shield, Clear Voice and Intelligent Volume Adaptation for a better sound quality on devices. The two phones also support micro SD cards.

The Sony Ericsson Elm costs €99.99 and the Sony Ericsson Cedar costs €69.99. Both are available from O2 and Carphone Warehouse.
